If your child or someone else you know has come out as transgender, you may be feeling confused, scared and overwhelmed. We urge you to explore our website, as it has many resources and information you will find to be helpful and reassuring. A great place to start is with our Founder’s Story in the About Us dropdown menu.

We are here and want to help in any way we can.

If someone is in crisis, feeling suicidal or needs help right away, please have them reach out. They can reach the Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860. Trans Lifeline's Hotline is a peer support service. Your family member can call them if they need someone to talk to, even if they are not in crisis or not sure they are trans. Their website also has a list of resources on the "hotline" page.

They can also reach out to the Trevor Project Hotline. They have trained counselors who are available 24/7. Call them at 866-488-7386. They can also be reached here.

If you’d like further information, please fill in the information and we will get back to you within 72 hours.

Please note: California Health & Safety Code §124260 allows minors over the age of 12 to consent to their own talk therapy. A more complete discussion of the applicable law can be found under our FAQs.

All of your information is kept strictly confidential.
